Life Forest offers several conservation burial plot options designed to meet different needs and budgets.

Our pricing reflects the type of burial selected, the amount of land preserved, and the level of service provided. All burial rights are recorded within a legally recognized cemetery and include documentation, mapping, and long-term care of the land.

Single Burial Plots

LOCATION: MAINE & NEW HAMPSHIRE

A Single Burial plot provides natural, in-ground burial of one set of cremated or composted remains within a shared area of memorialization. The Pollinator Garden is one example of a single burial location at our Hillsborough, NH location.

This option is often chosen by families who have kept a loved one’s remains at home and are seeking a peaceful and permanent place of rest.

Woodland Burial Plots

LOCATION: MAINE & NEW HAMPSHIRE

Our most natural offering, Woodland Burial plots are located along a protected footpath within the conservation forest. This option allows for multiple cremated or composted remains in one opening.

Included with Woodland Trail Burial Plots:

3′ x 3′ (9 sq. ft.) plot: $2,500
Private burial plot or pre-need burial rights
Deed-recorded burial rights with beneficiary designation
GPS coordinate recording
Biodegradable wool cremation shroud

No memorial sculptures are permitted on woodland burial plots. Memorial plantings may be approved by Life Forest staff.

Glacial Boulder Burial Plots

LOCATION: NEW HAMPSHIRE

Life Forest’s glacial boulder is a symbol of permanence. A burial around our glacial boulder offers Life Forest families a place they can trust will never change.

Burials are arranged around the boulder, so when visiting a loved one the glacial boulder offers a place to lean and to reflect.

A boulder that has not moved in thousands of years, representing the permanence of your love both in life and in death. This option allows for multiple cremated or composted remains in one opening.

Included with Glacial Boulder Burial Plots:

3′ x 3′ (9 sq. ft.) plot: $3,500
Private burial plot or pre-need burial rights
Deed-recorded burial rights with beneficiary designation

Ground level name and date marker

No memorial planting or sculptures are permitted in the glacial boulder burial area.

LOCATION: NEW HAMPSHIRE

Memorial Tree Burial Plots are all-inclusive and directly related to the amount of space necessary for your tree to properly grow and thrive within our conservation cemetery.
