About Life Forest

Burial and Remembrance Matter

For generations, families have gathered to honor their loved ones after death. Burial and remembrance rituals offer a way to express love, say goodbye, and begin learning how to live with loss. Visiting a loved one’s resting place, marking where they are laid to rest, and returning over time can bring comfort, continuity, and a lasting sense of connection.

As a legally recognized cemetery, Life Forest® exists to support these enduring human needs. We believe burial matters not only because it marks a life lived, but because it gives families a place to return, to remember, and to remain connected long after the funeral has passed.

At Life Forest, our intention is to offer a cemetery experience that feels more personal and meaningful than what many people encounter in traditional settings. We believe remembrance should feel gentle, grounding, and connected to life itself, rather than confined to rigid structures or prescribed forms.

Tradition is not about headstones or trees. Tradition lives in the people we love, the stories we carry, and the ways we remember them. What matters most is having a place where memories can be honored, where love can be felt, and where families can return in a way that feels natural and true.

Life Forest is a conservation cemetery designed to be that place. Set within protected forest land, it offers a setting for remembrance that honors both the land and the lives remembered there, supporting rituals of burial, return, and care that continue across generations.

Life Forest® Mission Statement

At Life Forest, we believe a positive surrounding is the foundation of healing and sustaining emotional connection to those who have passed. We have created a space that promotes health, healing, and happiness. We do this by harnessing the energy of plants and reconnecting to our forests.

Today, as a pioneer in the burial process, we are committed to protecting the environment and maintaining the tradition of burial and perpetual care.

Credo

Our first responsibilities are to families, environmental protection, and record keeping. In meeting these needs, everything we do is approached with balancing the cause and effect of burial and environmental sustainability.

We pledge to consistently ask ourselves the following questions in order to sustain a burial environment that is able to properly adapt and adjust to the ever-changing world:

  • How do we create an environment for the families we serve that evokes an emotional response of healing and tranquility?
  • How can we respect nature while simultaneously honoring burial tradition and ancestry?
  • How do we utilize the latest technology for record keeping, location identification, and spreading our mission?

At Life Forest, We Never Charge to Bury a Child

We believe that families should never have to worry about cost when burying a child. This commitment is not income-dependent and does not require explanation. It is rooted in compassion and care in the face of profound loss.

Life Forest provides a beautiful, legally documented, single burial plot for families who have lost a child, from infancy through young adulthood. This offering ensures that every child is laid to rest with dignity, permanence, and the same respect afforded to all who are buried at Life Forest.

Through our partnership with Children’s Burial Assistance, families are supported through a gentle, caring process during an unimaginably difficult time. If you or someone you love has experienced the loss of a child, please contact us. We are here to help.

No questions asked. Just compassion, care, and support when it is needed most.
